During the 2012-2013 school year, the Kentucky Science Center is offering a variety of programs for Scouts.
Cub Scout Days
Engineering & Math - February 9, or 23, 2013 | 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.(Fulfills requirements for the Mathematics Belt Loop and Pin and Engineering Badge)
Wildlife Conservation – March 9, 2013 | 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Fulfills requirements for the Wildlife Conservation Belt Loop and Pin and Naturalist Badge)
Science – March 23, 2013 | 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Fulfills requirements for the Science Belt Loop and Pin and Scientist Badge)
Cost: $14 per scout, $5 per adult. Includes Science Center permanent exhibit admission, program activities, take home materials (if applicable) and a participation patch.
Overnight Adventures
Spend the night at the Science Center with exclusive days just for Scouts, or sign the whole family up for the adventure on designated Open-Enrollment days. All Overnight Adventures include a science demonstration, program activities, after-hours exhibit exploration, a flashlight scavenger hunt, an exclusive IMAX®film, snack, breakfast, and admission to all Science Center permanent exhibits.

What’s the science behind vomit and what does your snot say about you? Do you have the stomach to explore the yucky side of the human body and uncover the mystery behind its functions?

Butterflies (Grades 1-8)
March 2 and May 18, 2013 – Open-Enrollment
Join us for a night full of adventure as we discover the secrets behind the amazing Monarch butterfly. Become a Monarch ambassador by discovering what you can do to protect these threatened gems.
