Pack 70 Cub Scouts Invite You
To Join in The Fun of Cub Scouting!
This
is
a reminder that Pack 70 would like to invite you to come out on the
last Monday of any month to our Pack meeting, 6:30pm at VFW Post 7287 in Coushatta. We'll have all the information you need to join Cub
Scouting and take part in all the fun!
What do Cub Scouts Do? We
go Camping, Bowling, Fishing and Hiking! We race Pinewood Derby cars
and learn how to use pocket knives to carve! We serve our community
with clean up projects and food drives. We learn about our Country and
our Flag! You can learn all sorts of fun skills and do projects with
your friends and family in order to earn badges and belt loops for your
uniform!
Parents! Pack 70 is the Cub Scout Pack serving Red River Parish. Our
pack meets at Horseshoe United Methodist Church. We have monthly Pack meetings,
and your son's Den will also meet one or more times each month. Cub
Scouting is a family-based activity; parents lead our pack and
participate with their sons.
Boys entering First Grade in September, can join as Tiger Cubs. Boys
entering Second Grade will join Wolf Dens, and Third Grade boys will
join in Bear Dens. Boys in Fourth grade can join as Webelos. Although
most boys start Cub Scouting in First Grade, all boys in grades 1-5 are
welcome!
