Scouts learn early on that they are in control of their own success.  Whether a Scout chooses to complete Merit Badges, take advantage of the many camping opportunities, advance in rank, or develop other life skills, he will learn the value of dedication and commitment.  Scouts achieve a great sense of self worth and confidence from new and successful experiences.  Each outing brings with it a new opportunity for confidence boosting and accomplishment.  These experiences may seem intimidating to new Scouts, but as they watch older Scouts succeed, they will become more comfortable with their peers and attempt new challenges as they are ready.

With each success comes new confidence and desire for increased challenges.  In Troop 60, we introduce new experiences and strive to help the boys become all they can be.  The experience they gain will build confidence and self esteem while they learn to succeed safely.

While the Scouting goal is to achieve the Rank of Eagle,  our goal is for the Scouts to achieve all they can in life.
