Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, is a welcoming, vibrant Roman Catholic community present in West Grove since 1873.  As a Christian community they come together to worship God and to experience, through Word and Sacrament, the new life and the fullness of life given to us in Jesus Christ.

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization focused on charity and prayer among its members.  Pius X Council # 3858 is an organization which prides itself in serving, helping, and supporting the local community of two of the parishes of Southern Chester County:  Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in West Grove and St Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother in Avondale.

New London United Methodist Church celebrated their Sesquicentennial during 2006. The first services were held in this area in 1856. Located on the corner of Oshkosh and Pine Streets on the south side of New London, the membership of the congregation is approximately 300.

Rotary's 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris. The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905 as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.

The Bridge Compassionate Ministry Center serves our neighbors in need by providing food, clothing, household goods, furniture, referrals, and encouragement. Open every Tuesday evening, they serve 30-50 families a week and 500 different families from throughout the Avon Grove School District each year. While housed in Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene, and under its leadership, The Bridge is a combined effort of several area churches, community organizations, and individuals.
