Catholic Programs

Updated on 11/02/2014

Faith formation is key to Scouting, and Troop 166 has some great activities planned to help our daughters / Scouts grow in their Catholic faith.

One of the key activities is celebrating Holy Mass on Girl Scout Sunday, typically the second Sunday of February each year.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is one of a few in the USA to have a dedicated Office of Catholic Scouting, who coordinates several faith programs for Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts alike.

Information on the Catholic Faith Building Activity patches and medals available for Scouts can be found onthe St. Louis Archdiocese, Office of Catholic Scouting Ministry Website at www.catholicscoutingstl.org or by calling 314-792-7613.

Help your daughters fulfill their "Duty to God" in  earning these faith development programs!

“My dear young people….of every continent, do not be afraid to be the saints of the new millennium. Be contemplative, love prayer; be coherent with your faith and generous in the service of your Brothers and Sisters, be active members of the Church and builders of peace. To succeed in this demanding project of life, continue to listen to His word.” — John Paul II, XV World Youth Day, 2000
