Next Den Meeting 13-Sep-2015 at WCUMC Pavilion Are


Den Meeting 2:
Our next Den Meeting will be this Sunday (13-Sep2015) at 4pm at Woods Chapel UMC in the Pavilion Area

Please wear your regular uniform for this meeting
This meeting will be all about getting ready for our campout(s)!!

We will be:
**Learning how to set up camp (this includes tent set up)
**Learning how to build a fire
**Eating dessert made on our fire :) 
**Learning how to take down camp
**Talking about camp and outdoor safety

Things to know:
1.  Family camp out is Oct 2-3 ($7 per person and the whole family is invited)
2.  Shoal Creek Campout and $$$raiser (required for our rank) is the following weekend (details to follow, but FREE)
3.  Popcorn can start selling on Friday 11-Sep-2015
4.  If you want a pack T-shirt (the bright green ones you have seen) let me know so we can place an order
5.  Please let me know who is in for the Family campout ($7 per person and the whole family is invited)

Dues are due at this meeting so please plan accordingly. 
If you still need to complete an application let me know and I will make sure there is one available for you.



Den Meeting 1:
Welcome Back Wolfs! 

Our first Den Meeting of the year will be 30-Aug-2015 at 4pm at Woods Chapel UMC!  Please wear your Pack T-shirt or other cub scout T-shirt (plan to get a little wet). 

We will be:
**Making an obstacle course and running it a couple of times
**Doing a team relay involving WATER (you will be wet -- maybe bathtub wet)
**Making paper airplanes
**Learning about our cool new Adventure program (fun--promise)
**Catching up with each other

The 2nd Den Meeting will be on 13-Sep-2015!  We will be learning about CAMPING to prepare for our Family Camp out (Oct 2-3) and a camp out and community service/pack fundraiser event at Shoal Creek Living History Museum in Liberty! 

Can't wait to see you Thursday (don't forget to bring a friend) at the ice cream social-- we are making our own Boy Scout style! And then again on the 30th!

Wolf Adventures


This year we will complete the following Adventures in order to advance to the next rank:

Adventure 1:  Call of the Wild  (an overnight camp out is a requirement for this one)
Adventure 2:  Council Fire (community service anyone :) )
Adventure 3:  Duty to God Footsteps (learning reverence -- visiting a monument or site where you show reverence)
Adventure 4:  Howling at the Moon (learning 4 different ways to communicate)
Adventure 5:  Paws on the Path (hiking and other outdoor fun)
Adventure 6:  Running with the Pack (fitness and sports)
Adventure 7:  Elective (we will decide what we want to go for as a pack soon)

BRING YOUR BOOK TO EVERY MEETING THIS YEAR--  they redesigned the program and the book is WAY better!

Remember that we have NEW scout Oath and Law to learn this year ...no more Cub ones!  Here is a sneak Peak!
