Make This Your Best Summer Yet!

Outdoor adventures should be high on the list of a girl's perfect summer. Girls attending summer camp have fun swimming, hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, practicing archery, eating s'mores, and making new friends that last a lifetime. GSCI has many exciting camp opportunities available this summer:
  • Camp Tapawingo will feature day camp, mini-resident camp, and eight weeks of resident camp
  • Camp SOAR will host choose-your-own-adventure resident camp
  • Camp Widjiwagan and Camp Kiwanis will have eight weeks of day camp, mini -resident camp, and weekend events
  • CampTastic will consist of five weeks of day camp, three one-day events, and two trips

Council Surveys

As we did last year, GSCI will survey girls who attend GSCI summer camp, as well as their parents, to help us understand the benefits girls gain from attending camp and ways we can improve the experience for everyone. Girls will take surveys while they are at camp and parents will be invited via email to take an electronic survey within a week of their daughter's completion of a camp session.

Additionally, GSUSA will be conducting surveys of girls, parents, and volunteers, and these survey invitations will come via email, to be taken online. There is a chance that survey invitations distributed by GSCI or GSUSA could go to your Spam or Junk folder, so we encourage you to check those folders for Girl Scout email in the coming weeks.

If your daughter attends multiple camp sessions, or if you play a variety of roles within the council (e.g., you are a parent and a volunteer and your daughter attends camp), you may receive several survey invitations, from GSCI and/or GSUSA. Please know that each survey plays a unique role in helping us learn all we can about our members' Girl Scout experience. We value your input and thank you in advance for taking the time to tell us about your/your daughter's Girl Scout experience via these surveys. Thank you for letting your voice be heard!
