Pack 148, located in Centerville Ohio, is chartered by the Cline Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. We typically have between 60 and 70 scouts; so as packs go, we are on the larger side!

Pack 148 is active year-round, and there is at least one major event for our scouts in every month:
January- Klondike, Ski Trip
February - Blue and Gold Banquet
March - Pinewood Derby and Scouting for Food!
April - Centerville Pack Challenge
May - Memorial Day Grave Decorating
June - Spring Pack Camp Out and Summer Day Camp
July - Marching in the Americana Festival
August - Resident Camp at Woodland Trails
September - Rocketry and Ice Cream Social
October - Fall Camping and the Corn Maze
November - Veterans Day
December - Pack Holiday Party and Caroling at the retirement center

In addition to the above Pack events, Pack 148 scouts participate in other trips within their Dens.  Each Den consists of 6-12 scouts of the same grade. Tiger scouts, being first graders, are the youngest. Second graders are Wolves, third graders are Bears, and fourth and fifth graders are Webelos. Pack 148 is lucky to have great scouts and great leaders, which results in a lot of fun at every event!

In addition to having fun, our scouts also serve the community by assisting the community through food drives for the less fortunate, local park clean ups, visiting at local retirement centers, participating in community events such as Memorial and Veterans' Day and other service projects.

Cub Scouting is a program for 1st-5th grade boys.   If your son is in the first grade or 7 years of age, he and his family are invited to join in the fun and learning of Cub Scouts.   Cub Scouts participate in events like rocket launches, Pinewood derby, campouts, community service activities, and much more.  Apart from fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys grow into good citizens who are strong in character and personally fit. This is why we say that Cub Scouting is fun with a purpose!

If you want your son to have some fun, excitement, outdoor opportunities, and a chance to participate in a program in which he doesn't always have to win — instead, he learns about “Do your best” and how to he helpful to others -- then we have just the program for you!
