PACK ORGANIZATION
Cub Scout Packs are organized in to Dens, or groups of boys in the same age group/grade level.  These Dens usually meet once a week, usually up to 3 times a month, and are led by one or more adult volunteers designated as a Den Leader.  The entire Pack will meet monthly (usually at the end of the month).  The Pack also participates in District-level and Council-level activities.
  • Tiger Den: 1st Grade
  • Wolf Den: 2nd Grade
  • Bear Den: 3rd Grade
  • Webelos Den: 4th Grade
  • Arrow of Light Den: 5th Grade
PARENT PARTICIPATION
As a parent, you can be assured that Scouting:
  • Encourages good citizenship
  • Teaches useful skills and physical fitness
  • Supports moral and ethical behavior
  • Offers many opportunities for self-advancement and learning
  • Provides outdoor experiences with an emphasis on safety
Tiger Den requires that a parent/guardian must participate in Tiger Den activities (more details in the Tiger Handbook page 4).  There are also opportunities with your Scout's Den to help, as well as within the Pack.  If interested, please contact the Cubmaster.

ADVANCEMENT
A Scout's advancement path is detailed within the Den-specific handbook.  All Rank badges (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, Arrow of Light) are earned by completing 7 Adventures.  When each Adventure is completed, the Scout earns a corresponding Belt Loop to signify his achievement.
