About Us

Cub Scout Pack 19 meets on the Fourth Thursday of each month from September until May at Epworth United Methodist Church. The meeting typically lasts about an hour and is led by Cub Master Carol Leeson. There are additional Pack events throughout the year and the Dens meet twice a month on the first and third Thursday's at Epworth United Methodist Church. While we do understand busy schedules, we anticipate that scouts attend at least 75% of the meetings.

We are chartered by the Epworth United Methodist Church, and are part of the Shabbona District and Three Fires Council of the BSA.

Each Scout is assigned to a Den within the Pack. The Den is based on the child's grade level. The Den Leaders plan activities to help earn their way through the Cub Scout rankings. Additionally, there are fun requirements (electives and achievements) that you do with your son at home.

Tiger Den: 1st Grade

Can join Spring of their Kindergarten year

Wolf Den: 2nd Grade

Bear: 3rd Grade

Webelo I: 4th Grade

Webelo II: 5th Grade

Annual dues covers all the Pack activities for the scout for the year. This includes registration with Boy Scouts of America and a subscription to Boy's Life magazine (one per family). Optional national, council or district events are not covered by this fee. Pack 19 is able to fund the scouts through its fall fundraiser by selling Trails-End popcorn. Family members may attend all monthly meetings, but additional Pack events require a nominal fee for family members.
