Welcome Daisy Scouts and Parents

As a Daisy, your daughter will begin to understand what being a Girl Scout is all about. She will learn how to live the Girl Scout Law in her daily life. We will be putting a lot of focus
on Community Service as a Troop. We will listen to your daughter(s) and involve them in planning meetings, field trips and service projects.

Our goal is for your daughter to grow, have fun, learn and make a difference in her community.

Please work with your daughter and help her learn the Promise at home. Once she can recite this to a leader, she will earn the center patch to the petals.

The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law
.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
Honest and fair,
Friendly and helpful,
Considerate and caring,
Courageous and strong, and
Responsible for what I say and do,
And to
Respect myself and others,
Respect authority
Use resources wisely,
Make the world a better place, and
Be a sister to every Girl Scout.

Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden
In this journey for kindergarteners and first-graders, a favorite pastime—gardening—meets the Girl Scout Law. The result is a storybook world of flowers and little girls who, together, do great things. Girl Scout Daisies will especially enjoy meeting the colorful, global characters who teach them to live the Girl Scout Law. The adult "how-to" guide offers Garden Story Time tips, key ideas for garden projects, and all the Girl Scout history and traditions needed for an adventure starring Amazing Daisy, a new flower friend for Girl Scout Daisies.

The Girl Scout Daisy Uniform:

You may either purchase the tunic or the vest. The Daisy pants/skirt and beanie are not required.

This is what the tunic and vest looks like.

**All items shown should be worn on the tunic, but the Troop will provide petals as earned as well as the Journey patch shown at the bottom. The benefit of the tunic is having pockets, which makes holding pens easier during product sales.
