under construction
On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country,
to help other people at all times,
to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scouting has a rich history of service to others--starting right at the beginning with the (mostly) true story of The Unknown Scout. But it certainly doesn't stop there...

From World War I Victory Gardens
to WWII scrap metal recycling...
To stories of saving lives, even at great risk...
To efforts to clean up and save our environment...

Service is a way of life for Scouts, who are encouraged to "Do a Good Turn Daily."
