Public Troop History - Boy Scout Troop 50 (State College, Pennsylvania)

Currant--uh, Raisin, no--Recent Events, that's it!

Troop 50 was originally chartered by the Park Forest Village United Methodist Church in 1963, along with Pack 50.

Although the troop's charter lapsed, Scoutmaster Tim Kohler worked together with PFVUMC to recharter the troop in 2005. Starting with just one tiny patrol of 5 boys, the troop grew to 30 by Summer Camp 2009.
We can't wait to see what the future holds!

2009 Sep 14 -- Brad P. Awarded Wood Badge
2009 Aug 25 -- Public Side of Website Announced.
2009 Aug 07 -- Troop Website initiated.
2009 May     -- Jeff Stormer joins troop as ASM; accepts Chaplain & Webmaster positions as well.
2009            -- Kevin H. Becomes ASM.
2009 Apr    -- Kevin H. Achieves Eagle.
2005            -- Tim K. Lights the Fire!
