We will be having a Halloween Party at the church on October 27th from 7-8

Prizes will be awarded for the best Halloween costume.  Siblings and Parents are welcomed to participate BUT we ask that all costumes are respectful of our church charter (please no devils or demons).

A $20 pack fee is also due at this meeting.  This money will go to fund your dens for the year.

Possum Creek is an annual tradition for Cub Scout families of the Alachua District. This is a family camping event so the en-tire family is welcome to participate. Campers will stay over-night in the fields at Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday evening, and enjoy a great Saturday morning program of BBs, archery, sports, and more! Please plan to either bring/prepare dinner for your family or eat beforehand as meals are not provided on Friday evening. On Saturday, we will serve a light breakfast, and the final activity will end at 12:30 p.m.  

Cost is $17 per person (children 4 and under are free) and the deadline to register is 10/14 @5pm.

Families must register themselves for this event.  Registration is not through Pack 202.  YOU MUST BRING A COMPLETED HEALTH FORM TO THIS EVENT AND TURN IT IN AT CHECK IN.  This form can be found on the Resources page.  Meals are NOT provided on Friday evening. Please plan to bring/prepare your own dinner or eat beforehand. On Saturday a light breakfast will be served.

This is the first district event of the year and is always a lot of fun.

Buc Tuocs is a great camping opportunity and a chance to do activities like archery, outdoor cooking, BB Guns and a campfire program with Captain Cub Scout!

Come for the entire weekend and camp with your family or just come out Saturday for the day.

What to bring: 

• camping equipment
• sleeping bag
• your own food if you are spending the night
• your lunch and a drink if you are only coming for Saturday day
• comfortable clothing including warm cloths if its cold and a raincoat if its rainy (this is a rain or shine event)
• CLOSED TOED SHOES ARE REQUIRED.  open toed shoes are not allowed

A Medical Form is required for all participants, HOWEVER, if you turned in a medical form already this year, you do not need to complete another one. 

Friday check-in begins at 4pm. Saturday check-in begins at 7am.  If you are only coming for the day on Saturday, be sure to get to Camp Shands early.
