All About Girl Scouting!
Discover, Connect, and Take Action—that’s what Girl Scouts do.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character,
who make our world a better place!

BECOME A GIRL SCOUT TODAY!

YES! There are available troops in your community and new troops starting throughout the year!

(Please direct inquires about membership and area troop availability to our Council. Our troop does not have access to this protected information. Thanks!)

Be a part of the Adventure! From community service projects to summer camp, travel opportunities to career exploration, Girl Scouts participate in enriching, skill-building activities that give them the tools and opportunities to become exactly who they want to be. Through experiences that build confidence, creativity and important life skills, today's Girl Scouts develop real world leadership abilities.

This exceptional program gives girls the chance to:

Discover themselves and the world around them...

Connect with others through caring relationships and critical team-building skills, and...

Take Action to make the world a better place by becoming advocates for themselves and their communities

Many girls join a local troop where they build character, gain self-esteem and serve their communities while creating lifelong friendships. Others who prefer not to join a troop can become independent members and enjoy all Girl Scout activities including programs, cookie sales, events and so much more!

No matter what, you can get started in Girl Scouting right away as soon as you register!

Who can be a Girl Scout?

EVERY GIRL EVERYWHERE AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES!

Girl Scout membership is open to girls between the ages of 5 and 17.  Girl Scouts are divided into age levels, with program opportunities to meet the needs of each age group.

Girl Scouts Levels:

Daisies (grades K-1): Daisies might try finger painting or a field trip to the zoo.

Brownies
(grades 2-3): Brownies could make s'mores over a campfire, or earn the "inventor" badge for a scientific project

Juniors
(grades 4-5): Juniors might go on an overnight camp-out and earn the "animal habitats" badge

Cadettes
(grades 6-8),
Seniors (grades 9-10) and Ambassadors (grades 11-12) take on all kinds of challenges, from improving their communities to traveling around the
world!

Adults (ages 18+) Leaders,
Co-Leaders, and Troop Volunteers join the fun and guide girls along the leadership experience.
