Dues:

Our pack membership dues are $65 per year. The pack keeps about $30 of that amount for a new scout and $38 for a membership renewal. The remainder is paid to Dan Beard Council to cover BSA fees and insurance.

Fundraising:

We have calculated using several years of data that our pack's actual cost per scout exceeds $100 per year. How do we cover that deficit? Fundraising.

Pack 436 sells Christmas wreaths as our major fundraiser. We rely on this fundraiser to meet the expenses for the pack and try to make it our only fundraiser for the year. We sell for the entire month of October and deliver the greenery products the week before Thanksgiving. We ask each scout to sell 10 greenery items to do their part to fund their cub scout program.
