Klondike Derby January 9-11, 2015

This years Klondike Derby will be held January 9th-11th, 2015.  The Klondike is an awesome event in which the scouts are able to utilize the skills they have learned.  The scouts will be divided into patrols that will run a "sledge".  A "sledge" is a sled that is similar to what is used by dog mushers.  Each patrol will build their own sledge and participate in competitions.  See the attached packet of information from a few years ago.
Because the troop needs to pre-register, get a cabin reserved for the troop, and build their sledge, signing up for this event will have different rules and deadlines than what has been done for past campouts.
Each scout is expected to RSVP, either yes or no, by DECEMBER 18th.  The cost to attend the event is $15 per person- this fee includes housing and the event, food is extra.
Questions can be directed to the SPL or Scoutmaster
