Pack 68 schedules a variety of fun activities and trips to keep our Scouts active and happy. We try to schedule atleast one Pack activity a month during the year. These include hikes, campouts, trips to exciting places, service projects, our Pinewood Derby and parades. Cub Scouting is family oriented, so we try to schedule activities that can include the entire family. To accomodate a few of our current and past Pack members, many of our events (including campouts) have been Wheelchair Accessible. See below for a small sampling of photos from our events! Scouts love our annual Pinewood Derby race! With adult supervision, Scouts can design and build their own Pinewood Derby cars and race them against each other. Trophies are awarded for the top winners. The cars are impounded and ready to race. Lined up on the track ready to go! We take exciting camping trips to places like the USS Alabama Noccalula Falls Clear Creek You never know who will show up at our Awards Ceremonies! Star Wars Theme Rank Awards Ceremony - 2011 - with the 501st Legion 2011 Blue & Gold Banquet The Leaders enjoy dressing up too! Scouts LOVE to sing silly songs! "Knights of the Roundtable" Blue & Gold Banquet 2012. The boys were "knighted" as they were presented with their new rank badge. In 2011, some of our Scouts assisted with Troop 142's mobile kitchen after the devasting April 27th tornadoes ripped through our beloved State of Alabama. Our Scouts also held a PB&J Sandwich drive and delivered over 2000 PB&J Sandwiches to the affected areas in North and Central Alabama. PARADES Our Scouts participate in the local Veteran's Day Parade and Christmas Parade each year.
