Hi folks,

The latest edition of the Veterans Memorial Air Park newsletter, is available at: Veterans Memorial Air Park website.

The recent arrival of the A-12 Avenger II mockup makes us the only museum in the world with a full scale example of this ground breaking aircraft that never flew.  Come see the "Flying Dorito" in our Petting Zoo.

Time is running short but we are continuing our campaign to bring Amon Carter Sr.'s Travel Air 5000 back to Fort Worth.  If we fail to acquire the aircraft, it will be auctioned off in September.  Please read the newsletter for details and help us SAVE-A-PLANE.

Don't forget, each month the B-36 Peacemaker Museum and the Lone Star Aero Club host aviation lectures and presentations on a variety of topics.  Look below the NEWSLETTER & NOTICES tab to find a link to these organization's sites for full lecture information.

July's B-36 presentation will be on "Airplanes You've Probably Never Seen" by Col. Knox Bishop.

The Lone Star Aero Club is taking the month of July off.

Keep in touch as we grow and explore the history of aviation in North Texas and "Bring Aviation History to Life."

Best regards,

Jim Hodgson
Executive Director
