We meet every Thursday at the Bennington Town Hall from 6:30pm until 8:30pm Once the weather is nice, we have a nice outdoor location where we meet. If you have any questions, please click on the ''Contact our Troop'' at the top of this page.
The Boy Scouts of America requirements to join a troop are:
- Meet the age requirements. Be a boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old.
- Find a Scout troop near your home - Troop 474
- Complete a Boy Scout application.

It is NOT necessary to have been a Cub Scout to join a Boy Scout troop

- Complete a new membership application.
- Give the completed form and membership fee to the scoutmaster.
