Cub Scout uniform for boys:

Required:

·A blue shirt for the Tigers, Wolves and Bears.  A tan shirt for Webelos - short sleeves are best as you can wear a long sleeve shirt under it when it gets cold.

·Webelos will need the blue shoulder epaulets. 

·An orange neckerchief for Tigers.  A yellow neckerchief for Wolves and Bears.  A plaid neckerchief for Webelos.

·A neckerchief slide – we suggest you just get the Wolf one – it can be used for all years and you don’t need to get one each year.

·The purple fleur patch for over the right shirt pocket.

·The numbers  3  0  8 for the left shoulder.  Usually red but sometimes you will find tanpatches – either is fine and usually separate patches for each number.

Optional:

·Everything else is optional.

·Most boys want a scout belt for the beltloop awards.

·Some boys like a hat – particularly the Tigers.

·A red vest is a great thing to get– for all the great patches you get, but don’t wear on your uniform, but there are many options for patch display, including blankets, books, frames, even denim jackets.  Most boys might want one of these, but wait until they have been in the pack for awhile and have collected more than a few patches.

Cub Scout uniform for Adult leaders:

Required:

·A tan shirt for adult leaders -short sleeves are best as you can wear a long sleeve shirt under it when itgets cold.

·Adult Cub Scout Leaders will need the blue shoulder epaulets (or if they are also attached to a Boy Scout Troop,the green epaulets are also fine)

·The purple fleur patch for over the right shirt pocket.

·A leadership position patch for the left shoulder (Usually “Den Leader”)  However, the pack will buy these for you if you want.

·The numbers  3  0  8 for the left shoulder.  Usually red but sometimes you will find tan patches – either is fine and usually separate patches for each number.

Optional:

·Everything else is optional.

·Some adult leaders will get the Scout pants or shorts (or they have a great pair of pants with legs that un-zip and become shorts)
