TIGERS

Any boy who is 7 years old or in first grade can join as a Tiger.  First, you earn your Bobcat badge.  The Tiger Cub motto is "Search, Discover, Share."  The program transitions the boys (and parents!) into the Cub Scouting program.  Each Tiger Cub joins with a parent partner and forms a team.  Dens meet regularly and take field trips frequently.  The Tiger group also attends the monthly Pack meeting.

WOLVES

Any boy who is 8 years old or in second grade can join as a Wolf.  First, you must earn your Bobcat rank.  The Wolf den also participates in the monthly Pack meeting.  The Wolf den meets regularly to complete 12 Achievements and up to 22 Electives so each boy may earn his rank and arow points by May.  In keeping with Cub Scouting's family-oriented principle, parents are encouraged to attend den and pack meetings.  Rank advancements are not given without a parent or guardian present.  There are 8 to 10 boys in a Wolf den.

BEARS

Any boy who is 9 years old or in third grade can join as a Bear.  But first, you must earn your Bobcat rank if you haven't already.  Like the Wolves, a bear den is comprised of 8 to 10 boys.  The Bear den also attends and participates in the monthly pack meeting.  The Bear den meets weekly to complete 12 of 24 Achievements and up to 24 Electives so each boy may earn his rank and arrow points by May.  In keeping with Cub Scouting's family-oriented principle, parents are encouraged to attend den meetings and pack meetings.  Rank advancements are not given at the pack meeting without a parent or guardian present.

WEBELOS

Any boy who is 10 or 11 years old, or in fourth or fifth grade, can join as a Webelos.  But first, you must earn your Bobcat rank if you haven't already.  A Webelos patrol is made up of up to 10 boys.  Boys alternate being patrol leader.  Webelos meet weekly to complete 20 Activities to earn rank badges, compass points, and the Arrow of Light.  The Webelos patrol also attends and participates in the monthly pack meeting.  In keeping with Cub Scouting's family-oriented principle, parents are encouraged to attend den meetings and pack meetings.  Rank advancements are not given at the pack meeting without a parent or guardian present.  Parents are also expected to help with at least one activity in a patrol meeting, and will need to be involved during outdoor activities such as camping.
