Welcome to Troop 53's Committee page. Our committee meets every third Thursday of the Month at Christ Community Methodist Church located on 4447 Loma Clara Ct, El Paso, TX 79934 and is ran by Rachelle Eastwood our Committee Chair Person. Our committee does a number of important jobs that keeps the troop rolling along, as well as informing you the adult volunteers also known as committee members of what the troop is doing and how it does it. This year we created three new positions in the committee and we need your help in both of them.

1) The Troop Equipment Committee - This committee is one of the greatest assets to the troop as it guides the troop on how to spend it excess money left over after re-chartering and buying any thing the troop may need for Court of Honors. This committee also helps your scout know that they will have the equipment needed for cooking, storing food, or anything the troop may needed to purchase to improve their camping experience.

2) Event Decorators - This new position isa special one that helps our events get the extra oomph they need to allow the scouts to know their events will always be fun, safe, and best of all memorable. Main job is to arrive early and help setup the event area and beautify it for the event.

3) Fundraising- This committee was formed to help the troop and its scouts be able to allocate incoming funds in order to help pay the cost of summer camp, dues, or anything your scout may need. If you have any ideas or would like to get on board the committee please let me know as soon as possible so we can have a greater success and profits from what we are able to accomplish.
