You can begin taking orders as soon as the form is in your hand.  

Take orders (those you collect on the order forms) are due at the pack meeting on 10/21, along with any money collected up to that point.  Customers do not have to pay for the product until they receive it.  However, we always encourage it as delivery is much easier when the product has been pre-paid.

Take order product will be distributed from my house over the weekend of 11/21.  Please plan on picking up your popcorn order that weekend (more information as we get closer).  So customers can expect their product in time for Thanksgiving gatherings.  Also makes a great Christmas gift.  (selling points)

We have a limited number of credit card readers available through PayPal Here.  Please let me know if you would like to be added to our account.  If you have your own PayPal account, we can accept payment through that as well.

This fundraiser benefits the scouts as well as the pack.  The pack commission is 36%.  The scout will have 60% of that placed into his scout account to pay for future activities  So a scout who sells the $600 benchmark will earn $129.  We have a lot of great activities this year that the scout account money can be used towards (Billy Bees overnight ($40), Zoo ($25) and Buffalo Naval Yard ($45))  We did have several scouts and their parents attend last year's events completely from scout account money, and even carry over a balance!  Scout account money can also be used for any purchase in the scout store - bring us a receipt and we will reimburse you, as well as camping related equipment from other stores.

The pack portion of the fundraiser goes towards awards, badges, belt loops, etc, as well as snacks at pack meeting, food at our year end dinner and a few other goodies along the way.  This year we are hoping to raise enough through this fundraiser to eliminate den dues as well.

This should be every scout's initial goal. To sell $600 in popcorn. Every scout who sells $600 in popcorn will receive a 4 pack of tickets - one each to: Chiefs, Crunch, Silver Nights and Monster Jam.  They can not earn additional tickets, but discounted tickets will be available for friends and family as the event draws closer.  All scouts also receive a Blaster Rocket.

Each week a scout sells $600 in popcorn they are entered into a weekly drawing.  Each week council will draw for an Ugly Stick Fishing Combo; a Smithsonian Science Kit and an Estes Rocket Kit.  Please let me know by Thursday night (each week) if your scout has $600 in sales to date - this includes both take orders and show & sells.

The top 3 council sellers will get to chose one of the following:  Mountain Bike, Kayak, Road Bike or Paddle Board.  Last year top council was just over $5000.

This next level goal is certainly attainable.  We had 5 boys in the pack reach this last year.  Every scout that sells $2500 in popcorn can enroll in the Trail's End Scholarship.  6% of their popcorn sales, each & every year they remain in scouting is put in a scholarship fund.  When they head off to college the balance of the fund goes with them.

How do you reach these goals?  Ask everyone you know to support Scouting.  Attend show & sells.  Use the on-line Trail's End to reach out of town family & friends.  We have found fairly consistently that for every hour we go door to door we sell $100 in product.  Suggest giving as a gift or making a military donation.  Every bit adds up.
